The aim of this study is to compare the father's and mother's interaction style during play activities. Twenty-five fathers, twenty-five mothers and their firstborns were observe longitudinally at 3 and 13 months. Social play and sollecitation codes were applied to codify the videorecorded sessions. Descriptive data and Multivariate Analysis on maternal and paternal social play and sollecitation were provided. The results show omogeneity between the two interaction styls. We found some differences between father and mother in the didactic activities.
