The essays examines the unilateral codes of practice inspired by Csr of multinational enterprises and the transnational collective bargaining, aimed at en forcing the accomplishment of International legal rules and standards protection, in the frame of the 2008 ILO Declaration “Social justice for a fair globalisation” and the 2009 European Parliament Resolution in the matter of “Corporate social Responsibility and supply chain”. These acts give an increasing role to multinational enterprises, but some recent empirical researches show that the content, the nature and the legal effects of codes and transnational bargaining, are still uncertain and limited. The Autor stressed the importance of a new support by international law for insuring more respect of private rules
