Les paratextes des traductions françaises du théâtre de Ruzante

The aim of our study is to analyse the functions of paratexts in the French translations of Ruzante's plays, and to reflect on how the process of transposition/adaptation has evolved. In particular, we will look at the principles that inspired the different strategies implemented in the process of translating into French, a language in which the translator is sometimes required to produce a veritable rewriting that cannot ignore the speech strategies and the interactive dimension specific to Ruzantian theatre.
