This study investigates the extent to which evolutionarily relevant threatening animals are processed without awareness. Across two experiments, images of snakes and spiders are presented subliminally while behavioral and physiological responses are recorded. The findings provide insight into the role of visual awareness in shaping both behavioral and autonomic reactions to biologically salient threats.

This study investigates the extent to which evolutionarily relevant threatening animals are processed without awareness. Across two experiments, images of snakes and spiders are presented subliminally while behavioral and physiological responses are recorded. The findings provide insight into the role of visual awareness in shaping both behavioral and autonomic reactions to biologically salient threats.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
