«PRAY AS IF EVERYTHING DEPENDED ON GOD. WORK AS IF EVERYTHING DEPENDED ON YOU»: RELIGIOUS FREEDOM AND ANTI-DISCRIMINATION LAW TO THE TEST OF GLOVO’S ALGORITHM IN A RECENT PALERMO COURT RULING. The article, starting from the ruling of the Court of Palermo of 17 November 2023, reconstructs the system of multifactorial algorithms used by platforms such as Glovo to distribute job opportunities. The stress test of anti-discrimination law with respect to this relatively recent reality is satisfactory from the point of view of the recognition of additive potential multifactor collective discrimination excluding the part concerning discrimination on the grounds of religious affiliation.
