Background Parkinson's disease (PD) treatments, such as apomorphine (APO) and levodopa-carbidopa intestinal gel (LCIG), represent advanced therapeutic options for managing motor symptoms. Improved patient selection and comprehensive cognitive evaluations are recommended for future practice.
