An innovative strategy is proposed for the adaptive control of multi-bit reconfigurable-passive electromagnetic skins (RP-EMSs) in Smart Electromagnetic Environment (SEME) scenarios. To properly address the dynamic coverage adaptation problem, a generalization of the state-of-the-art quantized iterative projection method is introduced. Full-wave numerical results are presented to assess the beam control capabilities of the synthesized RP-EMSs.

Abstract
An innovative strategy is proposed for the adaptive control of multi-bit reconfigurable-passive electromagnetic skins (RP-EMSs) in Smart Electromagnetic Environment (SEME) scenarios. To properly address the dynamic coverage adaptation problem, a generalization of the state-of-the-art quantized iterative projection method is introduced. Full-wave numerical results are presented to assess the beam control capabilities of the synthesized RP-EMSs.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
