This work aims to study the trial of Rosmini's books in the court of the "Congregatio pro Indice librorum prohibitorum", from the point of view of the legal history, and in particular from the point of view of the history of legal procedure. Very important is the legal approach to that topic, because in the trial the books were subjects to a kind of torture, ruled by law.
