This chapter aims to offer a pedagogic reflection on new challenges in the sustainability accounting education stream of literature. By identifying those challenges, among others rising during the COVID-19 pandemic, we build some teaching tips specifically for the context of sustainability accounting education. The identified tips are as follows: (i) look for solutions that are as simple as possible; (ii) keep the focus on the pedagogical design of learning, align students’ expectations with ours as teachers; (iii) collaborate and exchange; (iv) compassion and flexibility; and (v) innovation. These tips are based on pedagogical tips for non-topic-specific courses. However, involving a professor in education in the author’s team helped to “translate” the broad pedagogical tips into the sustainability accounting education arena.

Abstract
