The increasing volume of data in many scientific fields demands a transformative approach to data management and analysis. The data space concept, i.e., a digital ecosystem promoting sustainable and findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability data use, has emerged to address key challenges. This article introduces the European Network for Earth System Modelling Data Space, a domain-specific implementation for climate scientists within the European Open Science Cloud. This integrated environment offers datasets, tools, and services for data science applications. We present the motivations, architecture, and a scientific application example demonstrating the data space's capabilities.
