Given a (Formula presented.) family of vector fields (Formula presented.) which induces a continuous Carnot–Carathéodory distance, we show that any absolute minimizer of a supremal functional defined by a (Formula presented.) quasiconvex Hamiltonian (Formula presented.), allowing (Formula presented.) -variable dependence, is a viscosity solution to the Aronsson equation (Formula presented.).

Abstract
