In this work, the synthesis problem of domino-tiled phased arrays is addressed. A review of the tiling methods based on analytic and computational techniques developed at the ELEDIA Research Center is reported. Enumerative and optimization-based strategies are illustrated, as well as recent methodological advancements aimed at the optimization of very-large arrays. Finally, an illustrative numerical example showing the effectiveness of the proposed approaches is reported.

Abstract
In this work, the synthesis problem of domino-tiled phased arrays is addressed. A review of the tiling methods based on analytic and computational techniques developed at the ELEDIA Research Center is reported. Enumerative and optimization-based strategies are illustrated, as well as recent methodological advancements aimed at the optimization of very-large arrays. Finally, an illustrative numerical example showing the effectiveness of the proposed approaches is reported.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
