Nel solco di Aristotele: note a favore di una concezione umanista e realista della retorica

IN THE WAKE OF ARISTOTLE. NOTES IN FAVOR OF A HUMANIST AND REALIST CONCEPTION OF RHETORIC. In this paper, I propose a positive conception of rhetoric against the idea that it is only the art of persuading without reason and without truth. This will give me the opportunity to briefly investigate the evolution of the relationship between logic and rhetoric and to show, especially on the basis of the rehabilitation of Aristotle's Rhetoric, how it is possible to overcome prejudices on persuasion, in favor of a humanist and realist conception of rhetoric.
