Clues by an anonymous reader of manuscript Clm 6340, inserting several notes in its margins around XIIIth-XIVth century, led to the identification of the source of a quotation in the Discordia (Ep. 29) by Ratherius of Verona. The text is the Opus imperfectum in Matthaeum, for a long time assigned to John Chrysostom. Ratherius had probably the opportunity to read it in a manuscript of the Bobbio library, belonging to a branch of the tradition named "family 3" by the editor J. Van Banning. The hypothesis of contacts between Verona and the Bobbio library gets thereby further confirmed.

Abstract
Clues by an anonymous reader of manuscript Clm 6340, inserting several notes in its margins around XIIIth-XIVth century, led to the identification of the source of a quotation in the Discordia (Ep. 29) by Ratherius of Verona. The text is the Opus imperfectum in Matthaeum, for a long time assigned to John Chrysostom. Ratherius had probably the opportunity to read it in a manuscript of the Bobbio library, belonging to a branch of the tradition named "family 3" by the editor J. Van Banning. The hypothesis of contacts between Verona and the Bobbio library gets thereby further confirmed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
