Clam 2021: una ricerca su multilinguismo e lingue di minoranza nelle province di Trento, di Bolzano e di Belluno.

Minority languages play an important, but often underestimated role for individual and territorial multilingualism. This particular type of multilingualism is attested in different areas throughout the Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol region. The social, cultural and economic changes that have taken place in recent decades have greatly affected the transmission and knowledge of local languages. The most urgent step for planning interventions aimed at enhancing this particular type of multilingualism requires a precise knowledge of the speakers' practices, skills and attitudes in all the linguistic minority municipalities of the territory. This is the purpose of CLAM 2021 (Cimbro Ladino Mòcheno 2021), a research that this paper illustrates, focusing on the structure of the questionnaire, the method of data collection and the expected results of the inquiry.
