The poster presents a proposal for a specialised centre within Padua University for validation and accreditation of prior experiential learning. The University is facing the challenges of new learning needs and is questioning its role in creating and sharing knowledge: this research, therefore, attempts to contribute to refine and develop these strategies for achieving the third University mission - to be a service for all society; increasing with innovative approaches the dissemination of knowledge; enhancing the learning spaces for differentiated groups of new kinds of learners and offering real training opportunities for young and adult people
