The article addresses the issue of scientific advice to Parliament, proposing a definition and highlighting its constitutionally necessary nature in the light of constitutional and international case law. Through a comparative analysis, the article proposes a classification of the different types of scientific advice, in the light of criteria such as the source of its establishment, its appointment and the functions of the bodies set up for this purpose.
