Is our time an apocalyptic time? Compared to othereras in the past, the evils afflicting the earth seem less dramatic. But the horsemen of the Apocalypse (war, poverty, plague) are at work. And worrying trends such as the dehumanisation of government, economic domination of the world and the power of propaganda also seem to be at work. The empire of death can only be fought by reopening the horizon of a future in which there will be no more curse.
