Social practices of energy savings and efficiency are favoured by some socio-cultural contexts. This paper synthetizes the results deriving from 10 interviews out of 23 households living in a high energy efficient and new building (Bolzano – IT). The results define the socio- cultural context and the main elements that affect the change of social practices and energy behaviours for ensuring a reduction of energy consumptions.
