Abstract (IT): Il ritrovamento di alcune carte inedite di Contini presso il Collegio Ghislieri di Pavia (dove studiò durante gli anni universitari) è l’occasione per tornare a riflettere sulle traduzioni che il giovane criticò fece delle poesie di Hölderlin. Contini vi si dedicò per tutta la sua vita, ma in particolare negli anni trenta, fra Parigi e Firenze. Questa sua attività si inserisce in un fenomeno molto importante del mondo letterario europeo di inizio '900, la riscoperta di Hölderlin, iniziata in Germania e proseguita poi in ambienti francesi. Contini coglie le tendenze culturali più all’avanguardia e nella traduzione offre alla nascente generazione dei poeti ermetici fiorentini un punto di riferimento importantissimo per gli sviluppi stilistici del movimento. Questo emerge dall’inserimento del lavoro di Contini nel contesto storico, e dai fenomeni variantistici che interessano le sue traduzioni dalle bozze alle prime pubblicazioni a stampa. Abstract (EN): The discovery of some unpublished papers by Gianfranco Contini at the Collegio Ghislieri of Pavia (where he studied during his university years) offers an opportunity to return to reflect on the translations that the young scholar made of Hölderlin's poems. Contini devoted himself to it all his life, but in particular in the thirties, between Paris and Florence. This activity is part of a very important phenomenon of the European literary world of the early 1900s, the rediscovery of Hölderlin, which began in Germany and then continued in French circles. Contini is very receptive of the most avant-garde cultural trends and in his translations offers to the generation of Florentine hermetic poets a very important point of reference for the stylistic developments of the movement. This emerges from the insertion of Contini's work in the historical context, and from an analysis of the variant phenomena that affect his translations from the drafts to the first printed publications.
