During middle childhood the quality of the social interactions with adults and peers inside pre-school has been demonstrated as mediated by the quality of the attachment representations of the relationships with parents. This study presents the results of an action-research focusing the attachment Internal Working Model of preschoolers showing maladjusted behaviors and adaptation problems. The main results highlighted the co-occurrence of insecure and disorganized attachment patterns with children’s inability to daily adequately interact with peers and teachers.

Abstract
