In this letter, a circular polarized monopole hook antennafor ISM-band applications is proposed. The antenna isprinted on dielectric substrate and is fed by a 50 microstripline. The antenna demonstrated good radiation properties,a wideband return loss, and a very good axial ratio. Theinfluence of geometrical antenna parameters and in partic-ular the hook angle which affect the antenna polarizationare investigated and optimized. The obtained experimentalresults are in good agreement with the simulations.
