Man has always modified the landscape, adapting it,,, to his needs. Everywhere, settlement has always necessitated man’s intervention, using all his knowledge and strength, the user has constructed an ecosystem, creating sustainable environments. More recently, this knowledge has been lacking. By proposing town planning, architectural and constructional models imposing repetition, today's society has ended up producing territories, spaces and architecture indifferent to the geographical, economic and cultural characteristics of the place. During the last century, man has entered into conflict with the territory, to the point where in some cases he has represented a threat, for example, by causing widespread pollution. There is now an awareness that uncoupling architecture from the geographical location has broken the “sustainability” which society is now trying to maintain. We therefore felt that studies into settlements and buildings were ever more appropriate in order to reconstruct not just memory, but also congruent environments compatible with our requirements. To this end, we believe that in-depth knowledge of the rules regulating construction of the landscape plays a decisive role in the hypothesis of confirming, replacing or denying the principles themselves, whether for areas, individual buildings or the components of the buildings.

Abstract
To this end, we believe that in-depth knowledge of the rules regulating construction of the landscape plays a decisive role in the hypothesis of confirming, replacing or denying the principles themselves, whether for areas, individual buildings or the components of the buildings.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
