In the present work, a one-leg kinematic model of a cyclist is presented and validated to replicate motion capture measurements of a cyclist on a cycle ergometer. The main final aim is including it on a multi-level model with the principal variables affecting the performance of a cyclist (i.e. mechanical, muscular, physiological, environmental) for a global performance assessment.

Abstract

In the present work, a one-leg kinematic model of a cyclist is presented and validated to replicate motion capture measurements of a cyclist on a cycle ergometer. The main final aim is including it on a multi-level model with the principal variables affecting the performance of a cyclist (i.e. mechanical, muscular, physiological, environmental) for a global performance assessment.
