Projet ‘Carte Nationale des Sites Archéologiques et des Monuments Historiques, feuille 33–Téboursouk’ 2008. Compte-rendu de la campagne 19 août–15 octobre 2008

Exploration during the summer of 2008 focused on the north-west and north-east parts of Map 33: georeferencing and documentation in detail of three cities: Ain Glia (5 presses, two funerary inscriptions, cisterns, public baths), Thimida Bure (5 presses, 4 funerary inscriptions, 1 church?)and Numluli (3 counterweights, 1 mortise block, 3 presses, baths, aqueduct, quadrifolium church) and 72 rural sites, 30 of which were recorded in detail with total stations and 37 were georeferenced with GPS and surveyed with digital cameras and descriptive inventory. In the 75 surveyed sites 90 presses have been documented, which are distributed as follows: 13 in 3 cities and 77 in 56 farms. Five churches have been documented, one of which in the city di Numluli, the other ones distributed in the territory, often in the vicinity of a farm. 12 funerary inscriptions were found (including one or two Christian), a monumental inscription belonging to a mausoleum or the entrance to a property, a dedication.
