Of the Roman Villa of Ksar Fatma an exhaustive topographic and photographic documentation has been made, particularly of architectural items distributed on the surface such as roof tiles, thresholds, ashlar blocks and collapsed voussoirs (tapered arch stones) of a certain numbers of windows on the first/second floor. Cleaning of the wall surfaces in rooms 01, 05, 06, 08 and the outer northern facade covered with moss and soil was necessary to verify the construction technique in opus vittatum. The excavation was focused on the stratigraphy of the fill in pressroom 6, service room 8 and storage room 09.
