The work consisted of prospecting, georeferencing and topographic-architectural documentation of ancient sites in the Wilaya of El Tarf around Zitouna (ZI), Chaffia (CH), Boutheldja (BK), Besbes (BS), and in the Wilaya of Souk Ahras to the region around Ouled Driss (OD). 90 sites have been discovered, including 66 farms with 5 rock presses, 84 presses consisting of 128 monolithic elements (12 mills, 1 cylinder , 22 mortise blocks, 4 lintels with mortise, 30 pressing beds, 36 counterweights, 3 screw press counterweights, 9 rock presses, 3 settling tanks, 4 mortars) 4 hand mills and 2 metae. The settlements are surrounded by necropoleis of different types: 23 circular tombs (dolmen / bazina), 17 monolithic sarcophagi, 3 rock out sarcophagi and 10 urns, 84 tomb stones. The farms are built during the Roman period and used until the end of the Byzantine period.
