The global diffusion of property rights theory used in the economic analysis of the law constituted the focus of this analysis. By discussing the reasons of its international success, one becomes aware of the simplifications brought about by such theory and of the political consequences of its widespread adoption. The result of its diffusion is a poor understanding of the real-world complexity of human relationships and a naturalized conservative political platform. The global success of the institutional paradigm offered by the notion paradigm of property rights extended its economic justification in to domains where the economic logic poorly reflect the real life complexity of individual motivations and of political platforms rises serious question in need of answer by legal and political institutions. Abstract
Intellectual property is a field in which this characteristic is particularly evident.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
