This book focuses on a methodological approach of caregiving infants and toddlers in day care centers, discussing the advantages of an organization based on the key-person’s model , in order to offer high quality facilities. Based on the empirical evidences coming from neurobiology, psychiatry, and development psychology, the key person approach demonstrates its positive effects for the welfare of children, parents, and the members of the staff, as well as for the whole management. A number of possible practical strategies are proposed .
