The present invention relates to a method for determining, elaborating and compensating a configuration of deformation in a given complex structure of an operating machine, particularly a numeric control machine tool of wide industrial interest, such as boring machine of consistent size. More particularly the method consists in acquiring the deformation of the complex structure of the operating machine through the detection of the deformation of a reticular structure of measure formed by any number of elements connected to each other, exhibiting themselves as straight rods (14) and which substantially have a negligible stiffness.; Furthermore, the present invention relates to a set of optical-fibre sensors (9) coupled to the linear rods (14) of the reticular structure of measure which, by the way, is constrained, as a single body, to the given complex structure of the operating machine through knot-hinges (13).
