This chapter proposes a method to prevent trafficking in women for sexual exploitation. In emerged from a study of the opportunities, resources and technologies which traffickers/exploiters use to conduct their illegal enterprises, the research being carried out on the judicial cases in Italy. An important result of the analysis, also in terms of prevention, is the recognition of the exsitence of 'legitimate' actors who facilitate the trafficking activities, eg taxi drivers, hotel owners, and travel and employment agencies. Their actions, which often result in crimes at work, are among those that must be monitored and prevented.
