The on-going project MDO ("Manuale dell' Opera", Manual of the building's operations) aims to enhance interoperability across stakeholders in the management of buildings. Typically a building construction and maintenance is supported by several non-interoperating software applications, acting on non-integrated data. The aim of the project is to support centralized and interoperable design of the building-maintenance processes. On top of this, we propose a framework that allows distributing the related processes over a set of mobile devices, so as to support workers on their job. In doing so, a relevant challenge is to extract and execute subset of activities considering the context constraints, regardless of the constant availability of a reliable network connection.

Abstract
The on-going project MDO ("Manuale dell' Opera", Manual of the building's operations) aims to enhance interoperability across stakeholders in the management of buildings. Typically a building construction and maintenance is supported by several non-interoperating software applications, acting on non-integrated data. The aim of the project is to support centralized and interoperable design of the building-maintenance processes. On top of this, we propose a framework that allows distributing the related processes over a set of mobile devices, so as to support workers on their job. In doing so, a relevant challenge is to extract and execute subset of activities considering the context constraints, regardless of the constant availability of a reliable network connection.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
