Abstract
In many regions of Italy, in particular in Trentino, there is an important building heritage of redundant churches. Today these buildings are common or private property and they are often closed to the public, abandoned and sometimes highly deteriorated. In the Laboratory of Building Design of the University of Trento a research carried out whose aim is to find new sustainable reuses of this specific class of historic buildings. This paper refers to the studies carried out for the cataloguing of the redundant churches in Trentino region and for the systematization of the knowledge of these buildings. The result of the research is the prototype of an instrument in order to support the designers and the public administrations for the knowledge of the redundant churches in Trentino region and for the evaluation of the advisability to make interventions of conservation and refurbishment on these buildings.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
