A delayed complex perceptron is used as a feed-forward photonic neural network for chromatic dispersion compensation in IM/DD optical links. We demonstrate the equalization of PAM2 and PAM4 signals at various bitrates and propagation distances and a study on the minimum number of taps needed for the equalization.
