The Forte di Fortezza is an important historical military site in South Tyrol, which is currently musealized and accessible to the public. The research project, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by digitization and augmented heritage technologies, intends to give back to the user visiting the complex a usable Augmented Reality experience that integrates the most current heritage digitization technologies and reproductions by 3D printing of 1:1 scale models of the artillery originally planned for the fort.
