This review process is necessary to ensure their alignment with international law, European Union law, and more generally, the principle of the rule of law. It ensures that while punitive measures are taken to maintain international order, they are carried out within the limits of the law in order to safeguard the rights of all individuals and entities involved.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
