The purpose of this chapter is to reflect on the new challenges that companies and organisations face after the COVID-19 outbreak. Through a normative approach, the chapter proposes a rethinking of the current business model and the purpose of a company. Specifically, by focusing on the concepts developed by the Economia Aziendale theory, a more holistic and humanistic vision of the business model has been proposed. In this sense, the pandemic has to be considered an opportunity to rethink the way of doing business in a more sustainable vision. Thanks to this analysis, the fundamental pillars for a sustainable organisation have been proposed.

Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to reflect on the new challenges that companies and organisations face after the COVID-19 outbreak. Through a normative approach, the chapter proposes a rethinking of the current business model and the purpose of a company. Specifically, by focusing on the concepts developed by the Economia Aziendale theory, a more holistic and humanistic vision of the business model has been proposed. In this sense, the pandemic has to be considered an opportunity to rethink the way of doing business in a more sustainable vision. Thanks to this analysis, the fundamental pillars for a sustainable organisation have been proposed.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
