In the era of great IT expansion, the design and development of web pages are constantly evolving over time. Design can be applied through different processes, methodologies, and techniques. This research redesigns an IT cloud-based recruitment system by applying the principles of Design Thinking (DT), in order to guarantee an improved User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI) Design. Notably, DT is a cyclical process based on the observations of human behavior to solve problems. Moreover, this study investigates the experiences of potential users. Investigating the users’ opinions, a direct, constant, and iterative design is maintained, and the constant feedback helped to improve the UI/UX design. DT applied to UX/UI Design allows for understanding and analyzing the needs of users to propose a sustainable human-centric UI/UX design.

Abstract
