The chapter examines the role of diversity and super-diversity in migration issues as it is used in contemporary debates. The chapter seeks to provide clarity on the term ‘diversity’ itself, often considered so broad as to lose its meaning. The chapter examines the types of diversity present in the field of migration, which are highly variable, illustrating the different approaches to their study. These types include psychological approaches, group interaction approaches, and demographic and structural approaches. We conclude that proceeding with a relational, spatial, temporal, and contextual approach to understanding differentiation processes is a good starting point for gaining a deeper understanding of social variation in migration. In this way, a deeper appreciation of social difference aspects can be reached.

Abstract
In this way, a deeper appreciation of social difference aspects can be reached.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
