While the adoption of Information Technology is rapidly growing in Cultural Heritage with a plethora of possible applications, there is still the need to offer technology-enhanced museum and exhibition visits without overwhelming or distracting the user from the artworks. Therefore, this paper presents the Vocal Museum, a system combining Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence to offer customized visits to museums and exhibitions. To achieve such goal, the Vocal Museum is composed of a set of software applications to localize the user inside the exhibition and communicate with her/him via vocal or written interactions.

Abstract
While the adoption of Information Technology is rapidly growing in Cultural Heritage with a plethora of possible applications, there is still the need to offer technology-enhanced museum and exhibition visits without overwhelming or distracting the user from the artworks. Therefore, this paper presents the Vocal Museum, a system combining Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence to offer customized visits to museums and exhibitions. To achieve such goal, the Vocal Museum is composed of a set of software applications to localize the user inside the exhibition and communicate with her/him via vocal or written interactions.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
