IEEE International Workshop on Sport, Technology and Research (STAR)

Sport is a fast-growing sector, where the focus on top performance recently expanded to much broader areas, like smart cities, healthy lifestyle, smart stadiums, social inclusion, engagement, mental and physical wellbeing, event management, education (just to mention some). This is why it is essential to have an international venue where concepts, technologies, and scientific results from different fields can meet to support this fast and promising evolution of the sport sector. And that's why it is important to have it under the umbrella of IEEE, which ensures quality, collaboration between academia and industry and offers immense opportunities of networking and cross-disciplinary contaminations.
