We use our eResearch experience as a case study to research on how to efficiently use webinar and web meeting to support our Research collaboration. In our paper, comparison between webinar and web meeting are explained by their similarities and differences; specific descriptions on webinar and web meeting are also elaborated based on our eResearch experience. Finally we provide some suggestions from internal and external aspects so that future eResearch collaboration could benefit. For internal aspect, we focus on people (the host/presenter and the audiences/participants) involved in the event and provide suggestions based on the different time phases (before/during/after) of event. For external aspect, we focus on the tools and environments and suggest using professional tools like Adobe Connect and recommend using hard-wired connection.
