Some of the motivations and the detailed structure of Kyoto common Lisp (KCL) are described. The implementation of Lisp in C is discussed, and the memory management is examined. It is believed that the KCL system goes a long way in providing a programmer not only with the facility to execute Lisp code, but also with a system that is open and flexible enough to make use of symbolic processing ideas in a traditional computing environment.

Abstract
Some of the motivations and the detailed structure of Kyoto common Lisp (KCL) are described. The implementation of Lisp in C is discussed, and the memory management is examined. It is believed that the KCL system goes a long way in providing a programmer not only with the facility to execute Lisp code, but also with a system that is open and flexible enough to make use of symbolic processing ideas in a traditional computing environment.File in questo prodotto:
