The article deals with the impact produced by Covid-19 pandemic on equality. Based on a framework related to constitutional principles, it focuses on two profiles of the relationship between equality and Covid-19: the selection of the patients to be treated in ICUs (due to shortage of clinical resources), and the risk that the pandemic hits mainly the already disadvantaged and vulnerable people. The article also suggests a few lessons to be learned from the crisis, in order to get prepared for possible future pandemics.
