This paper deals with the information management in inverse scattering by means of suitable strategies. The role of a-priori, iteratively-acquired, and physical information as useful source for improving the reconstruction derived from the data processing is discussed. A review of methodologies and advances which have been recently proposed in literature is presented, along with a selected numerical results aimed at showing the potential benefits afforded by a smart use of the available information on the problem at hand.

Abstract
This paper deals with the information management in inverse scattering by means of suitable strategies. The role of a-priori, iteratively-acquired, and physical information as useful source for improving the reconstruction derived from the data processing is discussed. A review of methodologies and advances which have been recently proposed in literature is presented, along with a selected numerical results aimed at showing the potential benefits afforded by a smart use of the available information on the problem at hand.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
