Dialog gomunkula s ego sozdatelem: stilističeskie osobennosti variantov perevoda VI glavy «Sobač'ego serdca» na ital'janskij jazyk

In this paper, the linguistic-stylistic and pragmatic-communicative peculiarities of the translation into Italian of Bulgakov’s «Heart of a Dog» are analyzed. Seven translations published between 1967 and 2011 by eminent Italian publishing houses are examined in a contrastive manner. The analysis concentrates on the sixth chapter of the work, in which the first real dialogue between the homunculus and his creator takes place, and which reflects the linguistic changes in the construction of the new communist world. Particular attention is paid to those translational techniques used which attempt to render the complex metaphoric structure of Bulgakov’s text in Italian. The results of the research highlight the originality of the approach to the text in some Italian versions of «Heart of a Dog» and the importance of their contribution to the spread of Russian literature in Italy.
