Virtual Visit to the Louvre represents an interactive video-mediated visit where remote older adults are guided though part of Louvre without actually being there physically. We performed a controlled user study with 8 participants. Participants reported high scores on the user experience aspects presence, immersion, engagement, and naturalness in our setting, independent of the interactivity of the guide, or the number of participants in the session. Further investigations are needed to investigate how to provide a better sense of orientation and to provide for a more realistic interaction in such spaces.

Abstract
Virtual Visit to the Louvre represents an interactive video-mediated visit where remote older adults are guided though part of Louvre without actually being there physically. We performed a controlled user study with 8 participants. Participants reported high scores on the user experience aspects presence, immersion, engagement, and naturalness in our setting, independent of the interactivity of the guide, or the number of participants in the session. Further investigations are needed to investigate how to provide a better sense of orientation and to provide for a more realistic interaction in such spaces.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione
