This work is devoted to the presentation of the recent advances of Compressive Sensing (CS) as applied to inverse scattering problems. A review of the theoretical fundamentals of CS and of the state-of-the-art methodologies is presented. Moreover, the main issues concerning inverse scattering problems are discussed in order to comply with the CS paradigm assumptions. Two representative numerical results, considering both bi-dimensional and tri-dimensional problems, are reported showing the effectiveness of CS based techniques.

Abstract
This work is devoted to the presentation of the recent advances of Compressive Sensing (CS) as applied to inverse scattering problems. A review of the theoretical fundamentals of CS and of the state-of-the-art methodologies is presented. Moreover, the main issues concerning inverse scattering problems are discussed in order to comply with the CS paradigm assumptions. Two representative numerical results, considering both bi-dimensional and tri-dimensional problems, are reported showing the effectiveness of CS based techniques.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
