Abstract

Owing to today’s abundance of advantageous satellites, supplied with various acquisition sensors, information-rich data pertaining to earthly as well as atmospheric mutations can be deduced easier than for instance a decade or two ago. These data, if suitably exploited, can be used to efficiently discern useful environmental and urban manifestations that may have tangible impacts on both the social and economic shapes of a certain region.
