During the excavations carried out in Monselice (Padua, Italy), several metal, bone, pottery and stone goods dated to between the 6th and the beginning of the 9th century were found. Some of these come probably from the Lombard male graves. others testify a female Lombard presence since the beginning of the 6th century. of particular interest is a small brooch dated to the Carolingian period.
